Had the Sunday carvery here, staff were welcoming and very friendly. Dog friendly, great meal with a relaxed atmosphere will definitely be looking at coming back. Great place

Went in for breakfast this morning, wife had full english, i had veggie, was impressed by how good the food was, perfectly cooked, how good value and the service was no fuss, friendly , we like the atmosphere here and the team work hard together its not always easy working with the public but the staff look after customers well so will definately be going back .

Stopped off for some food after shopping with the other half, the staff were polite and friendly, the food was great and it wasn't too busy when we arrived but it got busier before we left. It's definitely worth visiting if you're in the area or just passing through. The photos are breaded mushrooms with garlic mayo dip scampi & chips & mushy peas with tatar sauce knickerbocker glory

Open fire has not worked for 5 years, new land lady Kate has got the fire mended and now so very cozy. Superlative dog friendly pub. Little whisper!!! I have heard breakfasts will soon be available...yum yum! Thank you Kate you are fabulous darling!

Carvery excellent, all fresh and massive portions. Staff very friendly. Prices very reasonable. Great atmosphere and lovely pub. Will definitely visit again
